Nightforce TS-80 20-60x Angled Spotting Scope.
Hot on the heels of their acclaimed TS-82™ Xtreme Hi-Def™ spotting scope—hailed by Field & Stream magazine as “Best of the Best” for 2014—comes our all-new TS-80™ Hi-Def™ spotter. Nightforce built the TS-80™ Hi-Def™ 20-60x to provide a combination of value and performance you simply won’t find elsewhere.
Magnesium alloy body provides ruggedness and thermal stability. The TS-80™ is thoroughly shock tested and waterproof. Large focus ring is highly precise, comfortable to use and extremely fast, even while wearing gloves. Locking center ring allows 360-degree rotation of the TS-80™. There are clearly felt detents at the 45, 90, and 180 degree positions. Vivid, high contrast images are the norm, even at the highest magnifications. The TS-80™ produces crisp, razor-sharp resolution with no distortion from edge to edge. Internal prism design provides maximum light transmission, as opposed to mirrors which absorb critical light rays. It is also easy on the eye, which greatly reduces fatigue and extends viewing time. ED glass, extra-low dispersion glass, provides bright, crisp images with excellent light transmission and sharp resolution. 80mm objective lens provides exceptional low-light performance.
Proprietary Nightforce coatings result in superb contrast and brightness, just like our riflescopes. There are none better. We’ve also added a hydrophobic coating which immediately sheds water without leaving residue. It also repels fingerprints and smudges, keeping your images crisp and clean.

The ME 1.7x magnification extender increases the magnification by a factor of 1.7. You can quickly and easily attach it using the bayonet catch to all the objective and eyepiece modules in the ATX/STX/BTX family. In the case of the BTX 65 and 85, the magnification increases from 30x to 50x, and from 35x to 60x for the BTX 95.
Utilizing Kowa’s PROMINAR Fluorite Crystals lenses, this flagship model possesses special dispersion properties that nearly eliminates chromatic aberration to redefine the standards of color brilliance. Fluorite crystal makes for the ideal lens material with “ultra-low dispersion” properties not possessed by ordinary optical glass. This outstanding specification adds the featured benefit of a near-completely reduced chromatic aberration, or color blur, to provide users with the ultimate viewing experience. The housing is water proof to JIS Protection Class 7 and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging to ensure image clarity. Kowa’s well-developed focus system has progressed to a dual focus system with smooth movement at high magnifications for pinpoint accuracy in image display. The quick focus can easily shift from infinity to 5m in two revolutions with the large and maneuverable knob. The fine focus moves fluidly to create pinpoint accuracy and is extremely useful at high magnifications and with digiscoping systems. The magnesium alloy body is constructed by a sophisticated called thixotropic molding to give the strength and feel from a traditional metal body, but with much lighter weight. The rugged structure can tolerate the severest conditions and will deliver the highest level of confidence and security.
